Spotify Premium Redesign

Spotify’s “pick your Premium” which displays subscription options for its users has a lot of growth potential. The page is initially bleak, confusing and puts too much information on the screen at the same time. To approach this redesign, I gave myself a couple goals.

Design Goals:

01. Highlight brand experience

Spotify has created an extremely recognizable brand through cohesive visuals in a very specific style. Lots of bright colors, bold typefaces, and a clean, modern user experience. The current Premium subscription page lacks any of this personality. My goal here was to bring the life and energy from the rest of the brand to this page.

02. Improve user experience

The goal of any web design is always to simplify the user experience. Especially when presented subscription options, the user should be guided through the most simplified version of the information.

03. Organize information

The key differentiators between Spotify’s premium plans are the price, number of users, and student status. My goal was to further clarify the main differences between the subscriptions based on these factors.

04. Increase conversion

The overall goal of this project would be to increase membership sales. By implementing branding, improving the user experience, and simplifying the information, the end goal is to increase conversion.
